Accessibility Plan

St Cuthbert's is a school that welcomes all children and families, no matter the need; we believe in working collaboratively to ensure the best for each child who comes into our care.

Below is our Accessibility Plan - a document we are required to have that demonstrates that we are continually seeking ways to make our school as accessible as possible to child with needs, including children with disabilities. 

St Cuthbert’s has an up to date accessibility plan that has been approved by our governing board:

Our plan demonstrates that we:

• Do all you can to support disabled pupils to access and participate in the curriculum
• Improve the physical environment to enable disabled pupils to take better advantage of the education, benefits, facilities and services you provide
• Make all disabled pupils aware of your accessibility plans
• This is explained in the Department for Education's (DfE's) advice for schools on the Equality Act (see page 29)
