Liturgy Leaders

At Saint Cuthbert's, one of our aims is to allow the children to take ownership over the collective worship and Catholic life of the school. We believe that by giving the children this responsibility they will grow as children of God and become more conscientious about their faith.

This year, we have set up a Liturgy Leader programme. Two Liturgy Leaders have been chosen from Years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Comparable to the Student Councillors, these children are representatives of their class and are given responsibilities around school, completing various activities relating to the Catholic life of the school and are given the opportunity to plan and lead acts of Collective Worship.
