Educational activities, programs, and school trips are important components to our school's curriculum. These activities should supplement and enrich the classroom learning experiences. They should also encourage new interests among students, make them more aware of community resources, and help them relate their school experiences to real-life. The Educational visits should be an introduction, extension, or a culminating event of units being taught in the classroom.
To mark 100 years since the end of WW1 and to continue their learning about WW2, Year 6 paid a visit to Lichfield War Arboretum. Here they had a tour and even carried out their own act of remembrance.
